Group of 48 Indonesians held for illegal entry in Tawau

KOTA KINABALU: A group of Indonesians were nabbed after they were believed to have arrived in Sabah illegally via Tawau on Friday (May 17).

Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) commander Datuk Hazani Ghazali said the 48 Indonesians, comprising adults and children aged between one and 59, were inspected at about 9.30am at a known illegal landing point at Mile 8 in Tawau.
