Risky route: Motorists seen driving along Jalan Bukit Lama leading to Bayan Lepas which collapsed due to the downpour in Balik Pulau, Penang.

BALIK PULAU: After putting up with the bottleneck at the hillside road leading to their homes for seven months, it will be at least two more weeks of agony for Balik Pulau residents before traffic flow returns to normal following a recent cave-in.

State Works, Utilities and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman Zairil Khir Johari said that was the period estimated for remedial work to be completed.
