DAP unofficially retains Sandakan seat, now chasing 10,000 majority

SANDAKAN: DAP has unofficially retained its stronghold of two-terms with its candidate Vivian Wong in the Sandakan by-election.

Unofficial results have shown that Wong garnered 11,245 votes, followed by Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Datuk Linda Tsen (2,758), and independent candidates Hamzah Abdullah (461), Chia Siew Yung (98) and Sulaiman Abdul Samat (72).
