PETALING JAYA: U Mobile users can now pay their subscription to video-streaming service dimsum or subscribe to the service using their U Mobile account.
This is thanks to the partnership between dimsum and U Mobile, which aims to ease the payment process for dimsum subscriptions for U Mobile users.
Dimsum chief marketing officer Lam Swee Kim said the partnership is in line with the aim of the video-on-demand service to make its payment process easier for subscribers.
“We are constantly enhancing dimsum’s payment process to make it more accessible.
“We believe that having U Mobile as our new billing partner will help us achieve this,” said Lam in a statement.
U Mobile chief marketing officer Jasmine Lee said the telco is happy to be able to offer this convenience to its users.
“Our customers are digitally savvy and always on the lookout for a variety of on-demand streaming services.
“So we are pleased to make it even easier for them to enjoy their favourite Asian programmes on dimsum as they can now just pay for their subscription via their U Mobile prepaid or postpaid account,” she said.
U Mobile users have five flexible dimsum subscription plans to choose from, with up to 25% discount for longer subscription.
The plans start from RM4.70 for a week’s subscription to RM125 for 12 months, which is discounted at 25% from the original price.
To enjoy the offer, U Mobile users are required to connect their devices to their
U Mobile network and sign up or sign in to their dimsum account via the video-streaming service’s app or through a web browser.
The payments are auto-recurring, which means that U Mobile users can continue to enjoy dimsum without the hassle of remembering to make payments.
Dimsum streaming service is available in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore and accessible via web, mobile and TV applications.
