Three road names in George Town changed since last month

GEORGE TOWN (Bernama): Three roads here have had their names changed since last month following requests from the public, says State Penang Geographical Names committee chairman Zairil Khir Johari (pic).

He said Thursday (May 9) that the roads affected were Jalan Muntri, which had been renamed Lebuh Muntri; Jalan Lorong Kuching to Lorong Kuching; and the road at Lorong Lembah Permai 9 to Lebuh Lembah Permai 1.
