Man who was caught on video slapping, punching woman arrested

PETALING JAYA: A man, who was caught on video slapping and punching a woman in a fit of road rage at Jalan Datuk Keramat, Kuala Lumpur, has been arrested.

Sinar Harian, quoting Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Noor Azmi Yusoff, said that the 37-year-old suspect was arrested at 10pm on Thursday (May 2) in Kampung Datuk Keramat.

The report on Sunday (May 5) added that a urine test conducted on the suspect came back negative.

He has been remanded until Tuesday (May 7).

The viral video of the incident, which took place around 4pm on Wednesday (May 1) at Jalan Datuk Keramat, showed the suspect getting off his motorcycle and confronting a woman.
