‘Property overhang in Penang going down’

GEORGE TOWN: While the number of unsold properties in Penang has dropped, it has increased significantly in many states, says state Housing Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo.Sharing the latest statistics from the National Property Information Centre, he said Penang had 3,916 unsold properties in 2017 but it had slid back to 3,502 last year.

Jagdeep said besides Penang, Kedah’s unsold properties or its overhang also decreased from 3,783 units in 2017 to 3,311 last year.
