PETALING JAYA: The National Union of Journalists Malaysia (NUJ) has called on the government to repeal the Printing, Presses and Publishing Act 1984 (PPPA) in conjunction with World Press Freedom Day Friday (May 3).
In the name of democracy, the organisation also urged the Pakatan Harapan government to do away with other laws and regulations that jeopardise press freedom.
