Abdul Hamid officially takes over as IGP


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador has officially taken over as the new Inspector-General of police.

This follows the handing-over ceremony between Abdul Hamid and outgoing IGP Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun at the Police Training Centre on Friday (May 3).

Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin witnessed the event.

Abdul Hamid, who was the Special Branch director, handed over the reigns of the department to Datuk Ramli Hassan who will assume the duty on an acting capacity.
