KUALA LUMPUR: A National Sports Facility Policy will be introduced to ensure every sports facility built in the future meets requirements and does not turn into a white elephant, the Dewan Negara heard.

With the policy in place, all future projects would be evaluated objectively and not on political behest, said Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong (pic).
