CHINESE actress Zhang Ziyi (pic) is said to be pregnant with her second child with husband Wang Feng, reported China Press.

After welcoming their daughter Xing Xing in 2015, Zhang had always wanted to fulfil Wang’s dream of having a son.

It is learnt that Zhang, 40, has stopped all work as she is in the high-risk bracket due to her age.

Her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival next month will be her last job before she takes a break.

There has also been speculation that Zhang had already booked a room at a postnatal care centre.

Early this month, both Zhang and Wang were seen at Beijing airport, with Zhang being spotted with a baby bump.

In an episode of the second season of Viva La Romance, Wang described Zhang as a good mother as she insisted on breastfeeding despite going through the pain of breast engorgement.

> Sin Chew Daily reported that five secondary school students in Seremban had borrowed from loan sharks to gamble and buy branded shoes.

Each of them was said to have owed at least RM10,000.

Some of them even gave up their studies and fled the peninsula to avoid the ah long.

It was reported that ah long would recruit school dropouts to work as their runners.

A 16-year-old student who loves branded shoes had taken up loans from eight illegal money lenders totalling RM11,800 for the past eight months. Among the footwear he bought online were from brands like Balenciaga, Nike, Adidas and Yeezy Boost.

After paying off RM16,500 to several loan sharks, there were still a few others who kept looking for the boy’s parents demanding for loan repayment.

The parents had turned to Lobak assemblyman Chew Seh Yong for help.
