Bukit Tengah rep says more needs to be done to decentralise power

GEORGE TOWN: There is doubt as to whether the Federal Territories Ministry, which manages the National Physical Planning Council, should have a say in the Penang South Reclamation, the state assembly was told on Monday (April 29).

While debating the motion of thanks to the Governor's speech, Gooi Hsiao Leung (PH-Bukit Tengah) questioned the minister's "capacity to know what is good or needed for Penang".
