PETALING JAYA: With the hype that is Avengers: Endgame, many brands have jumped on the bandwagon to promote Avengers' related content to their audience.

The 22nd Marvel Cinematic Universe movie - which is currently hot in theatres across the country - has garnered a lot of hype, and these companies have decided to add a spin to their content with some aspects taken from the movie (and its trailer).

Here are a few examples The Star has stumbled across on social media. (Don't worry, this article is spoiler-free)

1. Google

Open your browser and go on Google. Type in 'Thanos'. The first entry contains pictures and information about the main antagonist in the Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

And the entry also includes an icon of the Infinity Gauntlet. Click on the icon, and watch 'the snap' happen, and several parts of the page begin to 'disintegrate'.

Click the Icon again, and watch these entries 'return', thanks to the 'Time Stone' on the gauntlet.

2. iFlix

In promoting the TV series Nur 2 on Instagram, iFlix showed a 30-plus second of its character Hamidi planning something sinister as he utter the words "power of the hand", as he lets out a maniacal laugh and his right hand turns into gold - akin to the Infinity Gauntlet wielded by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

The caption reads "Korang ingat kat Malaysia takde #Thanos? Korang tengok sikit #Hamadi ni, tak ke macam Thanos dah rupa dia?" (Do you think Malaysia does not have Thanos? You look at Hamidi, doesn't he look like Thanos?)

The caption ends with the streaming series announcing that the TC series can be viewed for free on its platform.

3. Pos Malaysia Berhad

Spider-Man may be one of the characters snapped out of existence thanks to Avengers: Infinity War. But nonetheless, the web-head was 'spotted' on the road of Malaysia recently.

A post on Pos Malaysia's Facebook page shows a picture of Spider-Man riding a Pos Malaysia motorcycle in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The picture, which has over 1,900 likes and shared over 580 times reads "Setelah menewaskan Thanos, Spiderman tetap istiqomah menyambung kerja." (After defeating Thanos, Spiderman is still persistent in continuing his full-time job.)

The post has several hashtags including #avengersendgame and #dontspoiltheendgame"

Spider-man: Far From Home, the next Marvel Studio movie after Endgame, will hit local cinemas on July 4.

4. Nando's

Based on the movie's trailer, the restaurant posted a picture containing two parts - the first has character Tony Stark saying "Food and water ran out four days ago". The second part reads from Buletin Nando's that says, 'Water disruption for 4 days in Klang Valley'.

This is in reference to the recent water cut faced by over four million people living in the Klang Valley.

The caption, which does not reveal any spoiler, reads "if Stark can survive this... so can we! Or did he...? *gulp* (sic)"

It also reads "please bear with us these few days while enjoying our delicious PERi-PERi Chicken."

5. Durex Malaysia

The condom manufacturer posted a picture on its Facebook page showing someone wearing the Infinity Gauntlet with their condom-covered fingers in a snapping position. The picture includes the phrase 'End AIDS indefinitely'.

The post reads "Time to end this, whatever it takes. Join the fight against AIDS and #GiveTheGiftOfLife with every purchase of Durex…"

The post, which received over 3,500 likes and was shared over 1,000 times, includes a link to its Durex Red campaign, which aims to bring awareness about AIDS.

6. Grab Malaysia

The e-hailing ride company decided to jump on the bandwagon by introducing the services it provided.

In a 27-second video clip which promotes the movie, the clip shows a still of its employees, and includes the phrase "Saving the everyday with one super app - payments, food, rides, delivery", a nod to the services provided by the company.

The clip is also used by Grab Facebook pages in other South-East Asian countries, including The Philippines and Singapore.

7. DHL Express

The post features DHL Express' own 'hero' - a delivery guy wearing a red cap while holding parcels in one hand and a tub of popcorn in the other.

The said hero is between two piles of dust, which is supposed to represent competitors, similar to what happened to some heroes at the end of Avengers: Infinity War last year.

It includes the tagline, "We're ready for the Endgame." The post received over 35,000 likes.

8. Snickers Malaysia

The post reads "Hangry has to come to its endgame".

It included a picture of a Snickers Oats bar and the words "Avenge the Hangry", with the 'A' in hangry fashioned like the Endgame's A design. It also draws inspiration from the movie's "Avenge the fallen" tagline, which was used for its promotional pictures.

The post received over 1,000 likes.

9. Inti International University & Colleges

This tertiary education institute posted a picture on its Facebook page, which only has the phrase "Don't spoil Endgame for anyone!" written four times on it.

Posted on April 24 - the same day the movie is screened nationwide - it read, "It's Avengers Day! Tag a friend to remind them" and added the hashtags #intifam and #avengersendgame.
