Muhyiddin offered PM post after GE14 but turned it down, says aide

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin turned down an offer to be the prime minister following the 2018 General Election, revealed his special functions officer Marzuki Mohamad.

Marzuki said that the Home Minister was actually one of the first people in Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia to support Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to be prime minister when Pakatan Harapan won the election.
