PETALING JAYA: Perak's Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah paid a visit to Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Lee said that he had tea with Malaysia's Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Tuesday (April 23).
"Sultan Nazrin is in Singapore for the Universiti Malaya-NUS (National University of Singapore) Games," he said in a Facebook post Wednesday (April 24).
Lee added that these inter-varsity games allow students and staff to interact and build ties, adding that this was "another example of the close and unique people-to-people ties with our nearest neighbour".
"I wish Sultan Nazrin an enjoyable stay in Singapore!" he said.
At the time of writing, the post has received over 1,000 Likes, with many Singaporeans welcoming Sultan Nazrin to the country.
