GEORGE TOWN: In a third wave of arrests, another 22 Penang Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers have been hauled up to assist investigations into a protection racket involving lorry drivers.
A spokesman of the Penang MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) said the 22 officers, aged between 20 and 45, were arrested when they turned up at the state MACC headquarters in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah here yesterday.
