PETALING JAYA: An official vehicle belonging to a high-ranking policeman that was stolen in Kajang last week has been recovered in Perak.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat said that Bukit Aman Narcotic Crimes Investigation Department (NCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh's vehicle, a black-coloured multi-purpose vehicle, was recovered in Teluk Intan, Perak at about 5pm on Monday (April 22).

"A team from Hilir Perak CID found the vehicle parked behind a building in Taman Melor Sejati.

"The vehicle has been brought to Hilir Perak police district headquarters," he said.

Police found that the windows of the vehicle were not smashed and are still investigating how the thieves got away with the vehicle.
