PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan can no longer use 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) as an excuse for not fulfilling its pre-election pledges, says MCA.Its president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) said this was because Pakatan had acknowledged that 1MDB was very profitable and played an important role in developing the nation.

Pakatan confirmed that 1MDB was not the reason for Malaysia’s financial woes when its leaders spoke in favour of 1MDB projects such as Bandar Malaysia and the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), said Dr Wee.“PM (Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad) said the Bandar Malaysia project, which is worth RM140bil, could help the currency to rise and develop the nation.
