PETALING JAYA: Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are now working again after a worldwide outage, which lasted for about two hours on Sunday (April 14).
It saw Internet users heading to micro-blogging site Twitter for answers.
"Facebook and Instagram", "Instagram and WhatsApp" were among keywords trending on Twitter with thousand discussing the outage.
While frustrated at first, many users later saw the light side of the blackout posting memes about it and even suggested using other messaging alternatives such as Telegram.
The outage occurred in many places worldwide at around 7pm local time.
According to the Facebook outage map on monitoring website downdetector.com, Malaysia is displayed as one of the many countries facing issues with the social media platform.
Facebook owns WhatsApp and Instagram.
