GEORGE TOWN: Five developers are showcasing over RM5.67bil worth of properties during the four-day StarProperty.my Fair 2019 at the Queensbay Mall.

They are Mah Sing Group Bhd (RM614mil gross development value), Aspen (Group) Holdings Ltd (RM3.73bil), Ewein Zenith Sdn Bhd (RM800mil), Hunza Properties Group Bhd (RM480mil) and Devoteshens Sdn Bhd (RM50mil).

The other developers showcasing their projects are SV Group, Palmex Industries Sdn Bhd, Sunway Berhad and Runnymede Group.

Zeon Properties is the marketing agent for Ewein Zenith and Devoteshens.

Among the attractions at the fair, which started yesterday, are Mah Sing’s Ferringhi Residence 2 in Batu Ferringhi, Ewein Zenith’s City of Dreams and Aspen’s projects in Aspen Vision City.

According to Raine & Horne Malaysia senior partner Michael Geh, some 25 to 30 developers are expected to participate in the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) in Penang, scheduled for mid-April and June.

“In Kuala Lumpur, some 496 units worth RM285mil were booked at the recent HOC 2019 Expo held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from March 1 to 3.

“The expo also recorded a total of 43,000 visitors over the three days.

“The HOC with its incentives could reboot the interest for property investment in Penang,” he said.

Organised by Star Media Group, the StarProperty.my Fair (with booths located at the Centre Court and Lower Ground of Queensbay Mall) is open to the public from 10.30am to 10.30pm over the four days.

Admission is free.
