Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng: Improved tax collection strategies and continued economic growth will ensure that Malaysia readily meets its fiscal consolidation objectives.

GEORGE TOWN: The government has yet to accept the RM1.68bil offer for the Malaysian consulate building in Hong Kong as it is still looking for better offers.

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said no deposit was accepted from the party which had offered the amount as it could scuttle the search for a higher price.
