MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong traded barbs with Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, as they each demanded the other’s resignation over the sale of a property in Hong Kong.

Dr Wee, who is the Ayer Hitam MP, had asked Lim to clarify his earlier statement over the sale of the Malaysian consulate building there. He said the evaluation of the property had been carried out by industry players in Hong Kong who valued it at HK$1.6bil, and not RM1.6bil which Lim had earlier claimed in the Dewan Rakyat.
