KOTA KINABALU: The government is ready to answer various concerns about restoring Sabah and Sarawak as equal partners in the Malaysian federation once the Bill to amend Article 1(2) of the Constitution is tabled in Parliament next week.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of law Datuk V.K. Liew said that the amendment to Article 1(2) was the first "major" step towards restoring other rights of the two states.
