Sabah revives old railway line to bring development to the interior

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the reconstruction of the railroad, which had ceased operations for decades, would close the development gap between the interior and the urban areas.

KOTA KINABALU: The small town of Melalap in Sabah’s interior Tenom district is set to see more development with the reconstruction of a railway system connecting it to Tenom.
