Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the government has identified some companies as possibly having a monopolistic position in the market. The companies are Padiberas Nasional Bhd (Bernas), Puspakom, Pharmaniaga Bhd and MyEG Services Bhd.

KUALA LUMPUR: The computerised vehicle inspection centre (Puspakom) is extending its operating hours for e-hailing vehicles at selected branches nationwide beginning Monday.

Puspakom chief executive officer Shukor Ismail said e-hailing drivers with cars aged three years and above can bring their vehicles to their branches on Saturday and Sunday to take the opportunity for special e-hailing checks.

“We encourage e-hailing operators and drivers to use the online appointment date system via www.mypuspakom.com.my or through the MyPUSPAKOM application to plan their inspection time,” he said.

A total of 19 branches will be operating seven days a week. — Bernama
