PETALING JAYA: Pictures of a signboard leaning precariously near a hotel here along the Federal Highway have gone viral.

A text accompanying one of the pictures said the signboard looked "like it may collapse".

It also cautioned the public and advised them to share the message with others.

Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) councillor Tang Fuie Koh said that the leaning signboard has been repaired by the Public Works Department (JKR).

He said that they found about the signboard through the viral pictures on social media.

"It has already been fixed last night by JKR," he said.

Tang added that he did not know how the signboard ended up that way.
