GEORGE TOWN: Former security guard Tarmizi Yaakob, who was sentenced to death for the rape and murder of a 17-year-old schoolgirl, was still grinning when he left the High Court.

The 24-year-old, who was charged with murdering the schoolgirl under Section 302 of the Penal Code, was sentenced to death by Judicial Commissioner Abdul Wahab Mohamed yesterday.
