SINGAPORE: A Malaysian man convicted of murder was hanged in Singapore despite an eleventh-hour appeal from the Malaysian government and his family to commute his sentence to life in prison.
The execution of Michael Garing, 30, yesterday was confirmed by the Malaysian High Commission in Singapore, Bernama reported.
