Lorry driver remanded over dumping of effluents into Taman Eng Ann retention pond

KLANG (Bernama): A tanker lorry driver has been remanded for two days to facilitate investigations into the dumping of industrial effluents into the flood retention pond in Taman Eng Ann here last Thursday (March 14).

The order was issued by Magistrate Roslizi Sulaiman starting Tuesday (March 19) after allowing the application submitted by the police investigating the case under Section 277 of the Penal Code.
