Police steps up security after NZ mosque hit

KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman will increase security at sensitive locations nationwide, including places of worship, following the terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, said Deputy Comm Datuk Ayob Khan.

The Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division head said the step-up in security and monitoring was needed to ensure such locations did not become targets for militants.
