February 2, 2019, in Serian, Sarawak, an Egyptian and two Malaysians (a man and a woman), aged 20 to 54, were arrested. They were nabbed for allegedly harbouring Ansar Al-Shariah Al-Tunisia operatives by providing them shelter, jobs and plane tickets.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Egyptian militant, who married a single mother in Serian, Sarawak, had also used her email and bank account for terror-related activities.

Sources said the 22-year-old suspect also used his stepson’s email account to communicate with members of his terror cell.
