RAM Ratings said the decision to float the price of RON95 based on the Automatic Price Mechanism will lift headline inflation by 0.9 percentage points in 2019.
THE mechanism for the implementation of the targeted RON95 fuel subsidy has not been finalised although it is slated to be rolled out by the second quarter of this year, says Deputy Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Chong Chieng Jen.
He was responding to a question on the details on the mechanism for the petrol subsidy.
