12 escape injury after bus crashes, lands on its side

SIBU: Twelve passengers in an express bus should thank their lucky stars that they managed to escape serious injuries when the bus crashed and landed on its side along the Pan Borneo Highway on Jalan Tamin-Selangau.

Sibu Fire and Rescue Department chief, Norhasrita Abd Manan said in the 12.30am Wednesday (March 13) incident, only one passenger, an Indonesian, was injured while the other 11 passengers and the bus driver escaped unscathed.
