KUALA LUMPUR: The government will conduct a study to decide on the fate of Malaysian Airlines Bhd (MAS), after its losses caused a massive impairment into its sole shareholder Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s accounts, says Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“To me, it’s a serious matter, to shut down the national airline. We will nevertheless study whether we should shut it down, sell it off or refinance it.
