KUALA LUMPUR: No auditing or investigation will be carried out in future if the taxpayer declares his or her property under the Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (SVDP).
The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) said in a statement that the voluntary disclosure of the SVDP made for the 2017 year of assessment and the previous years would be accepted in good faith.
