PETALING JAYA: A 42-year-old Middle Eastern lecturer was among nine suspects who were arrested during an anti-terror swoop around the Klang Valley and Sarawak last month, says Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.

The Inspector-General of Police said the Egyptian national, who was arrested on Feb 2, was working as a lecturer in one of the religious schools in the country and had ties to two Islamic State and al-Qaeda members who were arrested in Kuala Lumpur last year.
