Ministry taking steps to ensure padi farmers get water

KOTA KINABALU: Efforts are being made to ensure that Kota Belud district gets enough water supply for the next padi farming season, State Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Datuk Junz Wong said.

He said with the district presently facing water supply shortage, and Kota Belud being one of Sabah’s padi producing areas, it was important that the matter was resolved.
