KUALA LUMPUR: It has been a productive first two months of the year for the Customs Department as they seized alcoholic drinks and contraband cigarettes worth almost RM100mil including taxes.

The contraband items involved 325 cases, 148 of which have been brought to the court and 74 suspects have pleaded guilty.
