A 65-year-old woman was electrocuted when a pump (inset) malfunctioned when clearing a flooded house in Sibu on Saturday, Feb 23, 2019.

SIBU: A 65-year-old woman was electrocuted after a water pump malfunctioned when her son tried to clear their flooded house in Jalan Saga, Off Jalan Lanang here.

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the incident involving the victim, Tambi Nabian, occurred at around 8am on Saturday (Feb 23).
