KOTA KINABALU: Sulaman assemblyman Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor (pic) is widely expected to be the de facto state chief for the soon-to-be set up Sabah chapter of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia.
The soft-spoken politician, a Bajau leader from the west coast, is seen as the best choice to lead the Bersatu Sabah chapter as the party needs to mend fences with Parti Warisan Sabah president and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, an east coast Bajau leader.
