Police bust drug syndicate, seize RM556k worth of drugs in Penang

GEORGE TOWN: The police have seized drugs worth RM556,000 and arrested four men aged between 33 and 49 in three raids on the Penang island and mainland.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigations Department director Comm Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh said his department and the Penang Contingent Narcotics Crime Investigations Department conducted the raids in Butterworth on the mainland, and Ayer Itam and Jelutong on the island from 9.20am until 10am on Saturday (Feb 16).
