MERSING: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has uncovered a syndicate that has been forging seamen’s books involving foreign fishermen with the arrest of a Vietnamese woman.
The woman, who holds permanent resident status and is believed to be in her 30s, was arrested during a raid on her house near Tanjung Gemok in Rompin, Pahang, on Feb 3 at around 10.15am.
