Three foreigners detained for killing turtles in Pulau Ligitan

Under arrest: Canadian police have arrested two men and are seeking two others for exporting controlled goods and technologies intended for space satellite use to China in violation of export and defense laws.

SEMPORNA (Bernama): Malaysian Armed Forces Joint Task Force 2 (ATB 2) soldiers detained three foreigners for catching and killing turtles in the waters of Pulau Ligitan off here early Wednesday (Feb 6).

ATB 2 commander Brig Gen Datuk Zarondin Md Amin said the soldiers also recovered six turtle shells from the men, aged between 25 and 45, during the arrests at 4.30am.
