Yeo: More awareness needed to boost waste separation, recycling

MUAR (Bernama): Waste separation and recycling is still not being practised as much as it should,, leading to more solid waste generated in the country, says Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change minister Yeo Bee Yin (pic).

She said understanding and awareness on the matter needed to be cultivated and applied in everyday life so that the amount of waste in landfills could be reduced and, at the same time, the environment could be preserved.
