ACTRESS and singer Elizabeth Tan (pic) is grateful to have close friends who are helpful, particularly her personal assistant Athira, as she battles anxiety.

Pancaindera, a pullout in Mingguan Malaysia, reported the celebrity, better known as Lizzy, as an introvert and did not have many friends.

“It’s not that people don’t want to be friends with me but I pushed them all away.

“A lot of people think I’m a weird and boring person – maybe because I think differently and I don’t like to hang out for no reason.

“I prefer staying at home playing games and most of the time I’d be in my room thinking about my lonely life,” she said.

The 26-year-old Semua Sudah singer said no one understood her like Athira, who was also her best friend.

“I need her everywhere I go. But one day, Athira will get married and just thinking of that is enough to make me cry.

“Let people say whatever they want but if she’s not with me, I don’t want anyone else and I’m willing to quit this industry,” she said.

> A couple in Negri Sembilan in the midst of getting a divorce were caught high on drugs together, reported Metro Ahad.

The duo, both aged 22, were caught in a state National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK) raid at a house in Senawang on Friday.

State AADK director Nazira Sadiron said that the team came to the house after the mother of one of the suspects lodged a report with the agency.

She said that the woman was upset because the house, an ancestral home, had been used as a drug den for about a year.
