PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Chinese Business Council chairman Tan Kok Wai must explain why former DAP member Hew Kuan Yau was appointed as chief executive officer instead of finding a more suitable candidate from the corporate sector, says MCA.
MCA vice-president Datuk Tan Teik Cheng said such political appointments reflected that cronyism was rife in Pakatan Harapan, as Hew had been active on the DAP ceramah circuit.
