PETALING JAYA: AirAsia’s approach to the Passenger Service Charge (PSC) has impacted the ability of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) to attract new airlines into the country and lessen efforts to make Malaysia a strong aviation hub, MAHB says in a statement.
MAHB said that it was in the best interest of its shareholders to recover through proper means the loss of an average of about RM7mil per month due to AirAsia charging a lower amount than the gazetted rate by Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom).
