MIRI: The Sarawak Forestry Corporation has directed a rescue operation to save two rare long-tailed macaques that had been abused for years in Miri city.
The rescue operation was completed at about 5.30pm Friday (Feb 1) after The Star Online reported that a mother and baby macaques were confined in a small cage under the sun.
