KUALA LUMPUR: Three low-ranking immigration officers were slapped and punched by police during intense interrogation in connection with human trafficking syndicates, claims Suara Rakyat Malaysia (Suaram).
Its executive director Sevan Doraisamy said the trio were detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma) and currently under the Prevention of Crime Act (Amendment) 2017 (Poca).
