Wanted: A mugshot of the suspect known as Roy.

KOTA KINABALU: Folks in Tamparuli, Tuaran, and its surrounding areas have been urged to keep an eye out for a possible armed man, who is on the run after he was believed to have hacked an Australian man.

The suspect, a Filipino known as Roy who is in his 30s, could still be armed with a Samurai sword which he allegedly used in the attack following a misunderstanding at Kampung Kiwoi Tamparuli on Thursday, said Tuaran police chief Deputy Supt Dzulbaharin Ismail.
